WHAT IS BIBLE BOWL

Bible Bowl is a game show that challenges young people to study their Bibles, while inspiring them to experience missions around the world through Maranatha Volunteer International’s teens-only annual mission trip, the Ultimate Workout.

CONTESTANT REQUIREMENTS

Vivacious teens who are 13-15 years old, with good general Bible knowledge, are comfortable in front of a live studio audience, and able to function well under time pressure.

VIDEO AUDITION

Auditioning is simple, but we need to see you. A mock game with 30 questions is available online for your audition. Please ask a parent or Pathfinder club leader to fill out the contact form (at the bottom of this page) to receive the user name and password for our secure webpage.

Any teen aged 13-15 is invited to audition. If you are in a Pathfinder club, your club members should audition individually.

VIDEO UPLOAD

Finally, upload your video to a secure site and send Debbie Thompson Kippel the link (debbie@3abnkids.com). Please don’t post this on a public site like Facebook, YouTube, or Vimeo, unless the link is hidden, as to prevent potential contestants from hearing the mock game questions and answers.

LOCATION

3ABN Kids Network Studios, 3577 Angel Ln, Thompsonville, IL 62890

Free camp sites are available to all. 3ABN has two RV parking areas. Each site includes electricity, water, and sewer hookups. There is also open area for self-contained RVs, campers, and tents. There are no electric or water hookups in this area, but a bathhouse with indoor showers and restrooms is available. A list of local hotel/motel accomodations can be found here.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

Once participants have been selected, their Pathfinder club must submit a 30 SECOND video (HD quality) introducing their club to the viewers. This video will play at the beginning of each episode that features one of your club members competing. Clubs who pass the audition process will receive the Club Introduction video instructions via email.

BIBLE BOWL CHAMPION

At the end of each episode, the contestant with the most points is the daily champion. Champions compete until they win three shows, at which point they retire undefeated, or until they are defeated, whichever come first. Champions receive a daily $300 voucher to go toward the participation fee for Maranatha’s Ultimate Workout (ages 14-18) and other personal prizes. You have until your 18th birthday to use the voucher.
